HELLEN ACHIENG NYASALA

We regret to announce the untimely death of Mrs Hellen Achieng Nyasala, the Deputy Principal St. Theresa Wawidhi Girls Sec School on 20th October, 2020 after a short illness.

Daughter of the late Mathayo Nyasala and Jeniffer Ajwang of Central Gem, Nyawara School. Step daughter of Peggy Aloo (Sheer Logic Management Consultants) and Mary Nyasala. Sister of George Nyasala, Caren Aloo Mulure, Evans, Martha, Vicky (South Sudan) and Carol (USA).

Wife of Zablon Obengo (Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology). Loving mother of Meg Ogongo (UoN) and Josh Obengo (Booker Academy). Sister-in-law of Dr. George Ogongo (Tom Mboya University College),Wilson Ogongo (Principal Ideleri High School), Septa Ogongo (Kisumu), Norah Ayiecho, Miriam Akoth (Bertha), Dorothy Obengo, Olga Akoth Ochieng, Sarah Obengo and Lillian Ogongo Teresa Ndege among others.

Aunt of Don, May, Maya, Brian, Maya, Ian, Kate, Carol, Mercy, joy, Dan, Joshua, Charles, Trevor, Humein ane Outa Ong’ong’o, Mosenindo Margret Ong’icho, Mosenindo, among others.

The cortege leaves Nightingale Hospital Milimani Kisumu on Friday 30th October, 2020, followed by a prayer service at AIC Kothim Local Church. The funeral service will be held at her residence near Abwao School, Upper Kadiang’a, Thurdibuoro Location, on Saturday 31st October, 2020 starting at 8:00am.
