MARTIN OOKO NGAJI

It’s with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden demise of Martin Ooko Ngaji (formerly of the office of the President, Internal Audit Department), on the 7th September, 2021.

Son to Mzee Ngaji Akungu & the late Elsa Agiro Ngaji of Okayo Central Location Ungoe Sub-location, Karungu Division Nyatike Sub-county – Migori County. Nephew to Ochola Sime. Beloved husband to Anne Akinyi Ngaji (Kosawo Primary School). Loving father to Quinter Ngaji, Fredrick Ngaji, Elvis Ngaji (Kenya National Shipping line) and the late Eng. Afline Agiro Ngaji.

Brother to Maurice Ngaji, Dr. Walter Ngaji (USA), Jack Ngaji, Peter Odoyo (USA), Steven Ngaji (USA), Nixon Ngaji (USA), Victorine Oyugi, Rose, Hellen and Pamela. Father-in-law to Mercyline Adhiambo (Mombasa) and Beryl Ochieng.

Grandfather to Brianna Martin’s, Jabez, Blessings, Mike Martin’s and Bella. Uncle to Phelix Ngaji, Billy Ngaji(USA), lsaack Okeyo, Kevin, Laureen, Aus & Motis (USA), Erick Nyaliech (USA), Raphael Lumumba, Hon. Peter Mijungu, Ken Mijungu (KTN), Sylvan Ojala (UNDP), Don Omondi, Winnie Kizia (National Assembly), Philbert Kizia (USA) Tabitha Odanga, Naomi Ayieta, Watson Odanga (NCCK), Beryl Kiziah, Felix Oyare, Emanuel Kizia, among others.

Brother-in-law to the late John Mijungu, Jack Kizia, George Kizia, Estone Kizia (Jordan), Caleb Kizia, Ben Kizia, Rev. Sudan Odanga, Dr. Rose Kizia Omondi, Pamela Ayieta, Milka Oyare, Margaret Oyange and the late Mary Ojala, among others.

Family and friends meet daily at his residence in Nyawita Estate – Kisumu and rural home Ungoe village for prayers and funeral arrangement.

The burial will be held on 24th September, 2021, at his home in Ungoe village Karungu, Nyatike Sub-county, Migori County.

There will be virtual fundraising today (20th September, 2021), from 6.30pm.
