ANNAH WAMBUI MATHENGE (WAMUNYIRI)

It’s with humble acceptance of God’s will, we announce the passing on to Glory of our beloved Mother and Grandmother, Annah Wambui Mathenge (Wamunyiri) of Ngorano Village, Mathira West, Nyeri County after a long illness on 16th February, 2022.

Daughter of the late Munyiri and the late Wambura. Wife of the late Stanley Mathenge Ndegwa. Sister of the late Njambi Machira, the late Muriithi Munyiri, the late Jecinta Njoki Waboi, the late Muriuki Munyiri and John Wanjohi Munyiri (USA).

Mother of the late Lawrence Munyiri, Boniface Kinyua, the late Gladys Wanjiru, Mary Muthoni (USA), Lucy Wangui (TSC), Jane Njambi, Charity Wangu (TSC), Miriam Njoki (USA). Mother-in-law to Margaret Wanjiru, Warugongo, Gatotho, Ngwiri, the late Kariuki and Maina Mutembei. Cherished aunt, grandmother and a great grandmother to many.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily for prayers at her home Karuthi, Ngorano Village from 3:00pm.

The cortege leaves Jamii Hospital, Karatina at 8:00 am on Friday, 25th February, 2022 for funeral service and burial at her home Karuthi (Huhoini Farm), Mathira West.
