It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing away of Liberatta Njeri Njoroge, daughter of Mary Wambui Kamau. Wife of Councillor Phillip Njoroge Gatong’o of Kairi Gatundu North who rested in our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on 1st June 2020 following a short illness.

Loving Mother of Peter Gatong’o and his wife Mercy Waruguru, Silvester Kamau and his wife Martha Wanjiku, Simon Chege and his wife Winfried Wanjiku, Andrew Neanta arid his wife Margaret Wayo (all of Worcester MA, USA), Esther Wanjiru and her husband Paul Kibiro, Martha Wangari Njoroge (Delaware, USA), Rosemary Wambui and husband Zacharia Gichuki of Nairobi. Sister of the late Peter Kamau, Esther Nyambura, John Mutonga, the late Joseph Kabau, Andrew Ng’ang’a and Harrison Kung’u (all of Nairobi) Sister-in-law of Martha Njeri Gatong’o of Worcester MA USA Grandmother, aunt and great grandmother of many

She was a devout Christian and member of Mothers’ Union at Nguna Anglican Church

The body is lying at Kenyatta University Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements are on-going.
