ALEX GATHIGIRA KIGANO

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will to announce the sudden death of Alex Gathigira Kigano (mainly known as Siaggy by his family & Chei by his friends), Director of Ahoy pubs on the 11th of February at his home in Buruburu.

Son of the late Watson Kigano and Rachel Wangechi Kigano. He was the son in law of the late Edward Njenga Monjo and late Margaret Wanjiru Njenga. He was a loving husband to Peninah Gathigira, formerly of Rwandair and Joyce lhiga formerly of DHL. Most amazing father to Cynthia Wangechi Sokoro (Corporate Staffing), Daisy Wanjiru Gathigira (NielsenlQ) and Melissa Wanjira lhiga (Edulink International). Father in law to Christian Victor Sokoro formerly of ABSA. Ever cheerful grandfather to Tulani Sankara Kigano and Victor Christian Sokoro.

Brother to the late Jane Wamaitha Kigano, Steve Kiama Kigano, Joseph Mithamo, Jane Waringa Kigano, Reuben Ngunu Kigano, Benson Munuhe Kigano and Lucy Waguthi Kigano. Brother in-law to Penelope Kiama, Ciku Mithamo, the late Irma Munuhe and the late Rachel Ngunu. Uncle to Rachel Wangechi Kigano,Tony Kigano, Catherine Wanjiru, Maryann Wamaicha, late Kanini, Catherine Wangechi Ngunu, Watson Kigano (Sunny), Wanjala Ngunu, Kigano Mithamo, Kaniaru Mithamo,Wachira Mithamo,Valerie Kiama, Fiona Kiama, late Jackline Kiama,Tracy Kiama,Wangechi Oyugl, Rachel Wangechi Kigano, Chelsea Kigano among others. Cousin to many.

Friends and family are meeting every day until Friday 19th February 2021 from 5:30pm at Buruburu PCEA Church. Other gatherings are being held at Ahoy Jerusalem and his home in Buruburu.

Funeral date shall be communicated at a later date.
