ALICE WANJIRU KARIUKI
It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of our mother Alice Wanjiru Kariuki of Umoja 2, Lanet, Nakuru.
Daughter to the late VVangai Muthuku and the late Lucy Nduhi Rimung’i. Wife to the late Gideon Kariuki Kimani. Sister to the Mugane (deceased), Muthuku (deceased), Njeri (deceased), Kabul (deceased), Nyagicuhi (deceased), Kihungi and Mwihaki.
Mother to Joyce Njoki and Prof. Kimani Njogu, Jane Nduhi (deceased), Samwel Kimani and Margaret, Salome Wangui and Elder Waweru, James Wangai and Stella, Stephen Mungai and Susan, Daniel Njenga and Sarah.
Grandmother to Kariuki,Wanjiru, Njogu, Njeri, Ngaruiya, Kiki (Deceased), Martin, Miriam, Ngonyo, Waweru, Nyambura, Mwangi and Grace. Great-grandmother to Joyce-Elia, Aryanna and Nduhi. A `Cucu’,Auntie and Mentor to many.A family pillar, she was a mother of deep faith in God.
She will be buried on Monday 21st November, 2022 at Karatina-Kagwe, Githunguri.
Family and friends are meeting at her home in Nakuru and the homes of her children in Kahawa Sukari, New Jersey, and Ciiko, Kasarani.
