ANN WANJIKU MUIRURI

 11th January, 1972 – 21 St January, 2023

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing on to eternal glory of Ann Wanjiku Muiruri of The Catholic University of Eastern Africa (CUEA) on Saturday 21st January 2023 after a long battle with illness.

She was a daughter to Joseph Gatonye Muturi & Lucia Wagio Gatonye.

Together with the late Alfred Karanja Macharia they were blessed with four children; Susan Wanjiru Karanja, Dominic Macharia Karanja, Maureen Wagio Karanja and Natalie Wangari Karanja. Mother-in-law to Kamau Kibugi and Emily Akayi.

Sister to the late Robert Muturi, the late Pauline Wangari, Anthony Muiruri, Paul Kimani, Samuel Mwaura, Catherine Wambui.

Grandmother to Leanne Wanjiku, Lynsey Wanjiku and Leilani Wanjiku.

The burial will take place on 28th January 2023 in Migumoini, Muguga, Kiambaa.

A requiem Mass was held on Wednesday 25th January 2023 at 12.00 Noon at the Catholic University Holy Trinity Chapel.

2nd Timothy 4:7 — ‘You have fought a good fight, you have finished the race and kept the faith.’
