With humble acceptance of God’s will, we announce the passing to Glory of Mr Anthony Mwangi Kimiti; a retired Educationists on 13th January, 2021, at KNH, after an illness bravely borne.

Son of the late Gathoni Kahati (Wakuraya). Brother of the late Nyambura, the late Maina, the late Mary Wanjiru and Simon Kibera.

Dear husband of Margaret Wairimu. In-law of the late George and Bernice Kabubei of Kabiru-ini village Nyeri County.

Adoring father of Martin Kabubii (Nyandarua County Government), Caroline Gathoni (Thika) Bernice Gathigia (Ruiru), Benadetta Nyambura (Kiriti Primary School), Ambrose Kimiti (WHO, South Africa) and Christine Wamuyu (UoN CRISSP Kirinyaga).

Father-in-law of Esther Nyambura (Nyahururu), Charles (Thika), Peter (Ruiru), Mary (Nairobi). Grandfather to 14 grandchildren and Uncle to many.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at his home in Kiandege Village and at Hippo Point Hotel -Nyahururu, starting at 5:00pm.

The cortege leave St. Benedicts IXVI Funeral Home – Nyahururu – at 8:00am, on Friday 22nd January, 2021, for a funeral service and burial, at 11:00am, at his home in Kiandege Village, Kiandege Sub-location, Kireita Location, Ndaragwa Sub-county, Nyandarua County.
