It is with deep sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of our beloved Bathseba Gesare Nyaata which occurred on 12th November, 2020 after a short illness.

Daughter of the late Elizaphan Obure and the late Loise Sarange Obure. Wife of clement Nyaata of Bomorenda Wanjare, Kisii South. Daughter-in-law of Erneo Ongeri and Bascaria Mocheche. Sister-in-law of the late Alloys, the late Zakayo, Benedict and the late James, the late Roseline, Mary, the late Eunice, Jacky, Veronica and Sarah. Step sister Bathsheba, Ngisa, Alice (USA), the late Kennedy, Zipporah, Gesare (USA), Judith (USA), Nguye, Eric, Onyimbo, Peter, Douglas, among others.

Mother of Michael, Adelide, Raymond (MKU Thika), Theophilus (Menengai Oil Refineries, Nakuru), Violet and Emma. Mother-in-law of Zipporah, Rosemary and Emily.   Grandmother of Brian, Clement Junior, Sandra, Pharrel, Bathseba Cesare Loise, Nicole Pendo, Andrew, Audrey, Isaac, Laban among others. Sister of the late Nyangesi, the late Onyimbo, Nyaata the late Laban, Clement, Aguta, Mary, Dr Obure, the late Naomi and David (KRA).

The body is lying in Kisii Teaching and referral Hospital. Burial will be on Wednesday the 25th November, 2020 at her home in Bomorenda Location, Bonyanchaire Sub-location, Kisii South.
