We regret to announce the sudden demise of Mr Benjamin Kipkemboi Sum, which occurred on Friday 15th October, 2021, through banditry attack. Until his demise he was an employee of Elgeyo Marakwet County Government as Ward Agricultural Officer – Endo.

Son of Kipsum Sitienei (Kapkirui), Susan Sitienei and Christine. Loving husband of Julia Cheruto. Doting father of Obadiah, Bethwel, Deborah, Abigael, Jared and Hiram. Brother of Joseph, Simion, the late Vincent, Daniel, David, Mary, Ann,Tecla, Ezekiel, James, Lydia and Eliud. Son-in-law to Jackson Letting and Hellen Letting. Brother-in-law to NapthalI Yego,Elphas Chumba and Hosea Letting.

The cortege leaves Iten County Referral Morgue, for a service at the County Treasury ground on Monday 25th October, 2021 and later to his home in Moi’s Bridge – Uasin Gishu County, for an overnight vigil.

Funeral service and burial will be held on Tuesday 26th October, 2021, at his Farm Moi’s bridge, Uasin Gishu County.
