It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Catherine Kemuma Ochichi of Miruka (Riochanda Market), West Mugirango Nyamira, which occurred on March 2nd 2020.

Daughter of the late Mr. Kibagendi Oruga and the late Teresia Bochaberi of the then Greater Kisii District. Sister of the late Nyarinda, the late Mong’ina and Nyakundi Kibagendi. Daughter-in-law of the late Samuel Maina Bikoro & the late Pacifica Kerubo. Wife of the late Lawrence Ochichi Maina. Loving mother of William Nyakamba, Wilfred Mengo, Anna Nyakerario Bundi, Lucas Mochere, the late Benard Mogere, the late Cosmas Ogero, Pharaoh Ochichi, and the late David Oginga Nyangau. Grandmother of Robert, Robinah, Maina Nyakamba, Victor, Evertyne, Late Maina Mengo, Theodora, Meg, Nyakango, Lawrence, Brenda, Nyangau, Nyamotai, Born Maina, Kevin, Mary, Sammy Bundi, Hellen, Jason, Witter and great grandmother to many.

Family and Friends are meeting daily for prayers and burial arrangements at her home in Miruka Market.

The cortege leaves for her homestead on Wednesday 11th March 2020. Funeral Service and burial will be held on Thursday 12/3/2020 at her home in Miruka Market.
