It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Charles Ibongo Njau which occurred on Saturday 8th May 2021 at his home.

Son of the late John Njau and the late Elizabeth Mwihaki (Mathini). Father to Rita Ndirangu, the late Victor Mbugua, Robert Mburu and Vincent Ngige. Father in law to Stephen Ndirangu, Dorcas Mwihaki, Anne Wambui & Faith Wanjiku.

Brother to the late Francis Wabururu, the late Teresia Mwara, the late Wangui, Nicholas Kiania Njau, late Maria Wairimu, the late Fredrick Muroki, the late Kubai and the late Wangui. Brother in law of Bertha, Eng. Ndung’u, Njoki & Nyambura. Uncle to Wambui, Mwihaki, Elizabeth, Rita, Njau among others. Grandfather to Frank, Nyambura, Arnold, Martin, Theresa, Wambui, Xavier, Xena, Nyaga, Yvonne, Wairimu, Maureen, Kenan among others.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his home in Kagongo from 3pm daily whilst observing COVID19 protocols.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta Memorial Funeral me (accessed via bypass through Kahawa West) on Thursday, 13th May 2021 at 8:30 am. Thereafter, the burial service will be held at his home in Kagongo from 11am.
