Charles Thuiya Kirega

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of our dad Charles Thuiya Kirega on Sunday 1st March 2020 at Outspan Hospital in Nyeri after a long illness.

Son of the late Isaac Kirega Muturi and the late Mary Wambui Kirega. Brother of the late James Muturi, the late Peter Kamau, the late Lucy Muthoni Ngugi, late Margaret Wanjiku Mwangi, the late Juliet Wangui Thuku and Mr. Joseph Kung’u Kirega. Loving husband of Ruth Muthoni Njoroge. Loving father of Lucy Njeri (Arimi Sacco), Isaac Kirega (Credit Bank), Mary Wambui (Teacher), Stephen Njoroge (Businessman Nairobi), Alice Wangui (Nation Media Group), Faith Wanjiku (UON) and the late Ruth Muthoni Jnr. Father-in-law of Catherine Wanjugu, James Michubu, Beatrice Karwitha and Patrick Muhindi. Sweet loving grandfather of Pius Mwenda, Anuarite Ntinyari, Winvanessa Muthoni, Chrisprecious Wacera, Prince Charles Thuiya, Brandon Thuiya, Annvictoria Wanjiku, Leon Thuiya, Maria Teresa Muthoni, Natalia Muthoni, Travis Mukaria and Annsandra Muthoni. Uncle and brother in-law of many.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at Dukes in Meru town, Midlands hotel in Maua and at our home in Kiale Village, Igembe South Sub-County, Meru County for funeral preparations scheduled for Monday 9th March 2020 at our home.
