COMMISSIONER CHRISTOPHER JOHN CHACHA – OGWE S.S

It is with profound sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Commissioner Christopher John Chacha Ogwe S.S, Former long serving Secretary General of Kenya National Commission for UNESCO, formerly commissioner TSC, former Director of Sony Sugar Company, He was a Board member Migori TTC and St. Joseph’s Mission Hospital Migori, which occurred on 12th November, 2020 after a short illness.

Son of the late Mzee Joseph Ogwe Umara Ngarire and Mama Adasa Ochicha Ogwe. Step-son of the late Mama Elsa wesonga Ogwe & the late Mama Norah Osuru Ogwe of Wasio village, God-jope Location of Migori County. Beloved husband of Mama Mary Akinyi Chacha (former teacher of Moi Educational Center, Nairobi). Beloved father of Bryan, Maureen, Mark, Dr. Greg, the late Claire, the late Jeremiah and Adasa. Beloved father-in-law of Mary, Jackie and lscah. Loved grandfather of Ava, Chris, CJ and Aitan. Brother of Zacharia, the late Elija, Simeon, the late Gershom, the late Isaac,the late Odipo, the late Samuel, the late Dickson, Fred, Jack, Hezron, the late Salome, the late Wilkister, Nereah, Judith, Akomo, Adoyo, Aliseba, Zilipa, Sylvia, Penina, Margaret, late Sophie, Rosemary. Son-in-law of late Senior Chief Jeremiah Otieno and the late Mama Yunes Owidi. Brother-in-law of Jacob, James, Elizabeth, Samson, among others. Uncle of the Ogwes, Wagundas, Oyolas, Ochiengs, Opondis, Okonjos, Otienos among others.

Meetings are taking place at his residence in Nairobi and Migori.

Harambee to offset funeral expenses will be held at All saints cathedral on 24/11/2020 at 5.00P m, Contributions may be sent to Pay-bill no: (891300), Account: (CHACHA).
