CYRUS CHARLES KING’ATHIA

We regret to announce the passing on of Mr. Cyrus Charles King’athia (Shirikisho Hardware Karatina) of Iruri Sub location, Hombe Location, Mathira West Sub County, Nyeri County.

Son of the late Gichohi Wandeto and the late Martha Nyokabi Gichohi. Loving husband of Cecilia Wanjeri King’athia. Beloved father of Stephen Gichohi and Esther Wanjiku (Nyana Hills Academy), Lucy Nyokabi and Godfrey Gachago Muriuki (Luci Hardware – Umoja, Nairobi), James Muthiga and Catherine Waithiegeni (Taifa Sacco, Nyeri) and Milka Kirigo (Double “K” Hardware Umoja, Nairobi).

Son in-law of the late Perminus Mururi and the late Milka Wamuyu. Brother of the late Esteri Wanjugu Muraguri, Mary  Wanjiru Ndiritu, the late Samuel Wahome Gichohi, the late Grace Wanjiku Muriuki, Lucy Wangu and Davis Githinji. Step-brother to the late Mumbi Karani, the late Eva Gathoni, the late Githui Gichohi, the late Wanjiku and the late Kirigo. Grandfather to Ben and Ann, Cicilia and Pritchad, Charles, Symo, Eustus, Mururi,Wandeto, Philip, Dama, Cici, Gavin, Wanjeri and great-grandfather to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his Iruri home and Ibis Karatina. The cortege leaves Jamii Hospital Karatina, on Friday 13th November, 2020 at 9:00 am. Followed by a funeral service at his home in Iruri Village.
