Son of Panteleo Mauya and Rose Kemunto and Teresa Mauya. Brother to Everlyne Onyambu, Beatrice Nyaundi, Divinah Kebaso, the late Vincent Nyakundi, Dellyvine Ndemo, Lynette Nyaboke. Stepbrother to Stella, Judy, Rebecca, Justus, Wilfred, and Gladys. Son in law to John Nyaribo and Edna Kemuma. Husband to Cynthia Bochaberi and loving father of Liam Mauya and Mya Kemunto.

Brother in law to Francis Onyambu, Naftali Nyaundi, Daniel Mosomi, David Ndemo and Frank Nyaribo. Loving uncle to Jacinta, Gabriel, Harriet, Ivy, Juliet, Purity, Enock, Joy, Sally, Seth, Emma, Gabriel Nyakundi, Mauya Junior, Obama, Damine, Derrick, Leo Mauya, Christian. He was a nephew to Felix Bosire, Timothy Bosire, Nyamusi, Bosibori, Lydia, late Monchari, Maria, Late Viniper, Catherine, Mark Ernest, Late Salome, Bonareri, Bosibori Late Toel, late Hellen, Late Yunia and many others.

The cortege leaves Chiromo Mortuary on Thursday 6th May 2021 at 9.00am for funeral service and burial at his home in Nyamira County, Nyamwanga Village on 7th May 2021.
