ELIAS MUTHAMIA M’AGAINE (GAKINGO)

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of Mr. Elias Muthamia M’Againe (Gakingo) of Kinoro, Egoji – Meru Central, Which occurred on 14th November, 2020. He enjoyed his 88 years on earth, a blessed farmer.

Husband to the late Domiciana Wanja and Rossetta Igoki. Beloved father of the late Gerald Gitonga (Tosha), Jane Kagoji – Kirimi, Angela Mucece – Kithinji, Ephantus Kaburu, Francis Mwebia, Lucy Maiti – Mbaabu, Harriet Mwengwa – Murumba, John Gichunge, Purity Njiru – Mwawaza, Lawrence Gikundi, Patrick Mwandiki, Scholastics Nkatha – Njuguna, Connie Kinya. Father-in-law of Rose Gitonga, Ephantus Kirimi, Jeremiah Murumba, Gervasio Kithinji, Rose Kaburu, Andrew Mwawaza, Stephen Njuguna, Gatwiri Gichunge, Kanana Mwebia, Mbabu Kinanda, and Doreen Mwandiki.

A doting grandfather of the late Muthuri, Muchui, Frida, Muthomi, Mwiti, Mutuma, Marcella, Gatakaa, Gitobu, Kendi, Gakii, Mwendwa, Makena, Mwiti, Kimathi, Brenda, Mwenda, Mwirigi, Kawira, Munene, Vincent, Mutwiri, the late Ntinyari, Mutura, Murimi, Koome, Micheal, June, Mugambi, Carlos, Nicole, Gatwiri, Karwitha, Mawira, Kariuki, Mutugi and Kabuchi. Elias was blessed with several great-grandchildren.

The cortege will leave Meru Funeral home at 9.00am on 21st November 2020, there after, a Requiem Mass will be held at Kinoro Catholic Church at 10.00am. The burial will take place at his home in Tairi Village in Kinoro-Egoji, at 2.00pm.
