It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing on of Elizabeth Wairimu Ndung’u of Athara, Makuyu, Murang’a South on 4th May, 2021.

Daughter of the late Mburu Kiiru and the late Nyambura Kiiru. Wife of the late Bianjo Ndung’u Njinaro. Mother of the late Peter Mbau, Wanjiru Kamara, Mary Nyambura, Gitau Njinaro, Muiruri Njinaro, Christine Warnbui and Catherine Njeri. Mother-in-law of Nyambura Mbau, the late Kamara, Githui, Kagure, Muthoni and Athman.

Sister of the late Lucas Muiruri, Esther Njeri, Nicieta Muthoni and Piet Wanjiku. Grandmother of Wairimu, Wanjiku, Gikonyo, Mumbi, Wamathai, Wachira, Ndung’u, Wairimu Gitau, Wangui, Wang’ombe, Nyambura, Wairimu Muiruri, Wanjiru, Wanjiku Muiruri, Mashua, Hope Wairimu, Samuel, and Benjamin Mbau. Great-grandmother of Mbau, Ashley, Makena, Eliab and Celine.

Family and friends are meeting daily at her home in Athara, Makuyu, Murang’a South for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home Kabati on Thursday 13th May 2021 at 9.00 am. Followed by a burial and funeral mass at her home in Athara Village from noon.
