ELIZABETH WARUGURU KANG’ETHE

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of our beloved Mum Elizabeth Waruguru Kang’ethe after a long illness bravely borne at The Aga Khan University Hospital, Nairobi on the 25th August 2020.

Daughter of the late Grishon Wambugu and the late Helen Wanja. Wife of the late John Kang’ethe Kaburu. Mother of Joseph, the late Margaret, the late Maina, Alice, the late Jane, Leah, David, the late Agnes, Peter, Lydiah and John. Sister of Muriuki, Njogu, Macharia, Isabella, the late Loise and the late Wangui. Grandmother of Collins, Brian, John, Ian, Ronaldo, Elizabeth, Mitchelle, Hope, John, Elizabeth, Jeremy, Liz, John, Justine and Leon. Great grandmother of Wambui and the late Sherah. Mother-in-law of James, Robert, Joseph, Janice, Lucy, Ann, Humphrey and Hellen.

Relatives and friends are meeting at her Ngara residence and her Kiamunyi home in Nakuru for prayers and funeral arrangements at 4.00pm.

The burial is scheduled to take place on Tuesday 1st September 2020. The cortege leaves Umash Funeral Home, Nakuru County at 9.00 a.m for the burial service at P.C.E.A Kiamunyi Church. She will be then laid to rest at her home in Kiamunyi at 2.00pm.
