EMILY NYAMBURA DANSON KIGUTA

1924 – 2021

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Emily Nyambura Danson Kiguta of Wanyororo B village, Bahati location, Nakuru county which occurred on Saturday morning of March 6th 2021 at the age of 97 years.

Daughter of the late Monica Waithera Reuben and the late Reuben Mwangi and beloved wife to the late Danson Kiguta. Mother to the late Naomi Wairimu Wamae Kiguta, Dan Jaffrays Mwangi, the late Violet Waithera Mukuria, the late Joe Mwangi, Esther Muthoni, Salome Wambui, Mary Wanjiru, Lydia Watiri, Magrate Wangare and Kepha Maina Danson.

Sister to Henry Wariahe, Joseph Wainoga, Mary Wambui Njuguna, Stanley Munogoki, Wariahe Reuben (Mirima), Samuel Munga, the late Kanyoro, Fredrich Muoge, Nathan Karurua, the late Waithaka, Joshua Karaihira, Watiri Reuben, the late Geoffrey Wariahe, Francis Gathumbi and James Waithaka.

Mother-in-law to Peter Wamae, Duncan Mukuria, the late Njeri Danson, Elias Njue, Lydia Kaguiria, Kanana and Miriam. Grandmother to the late Njiri Danson Kiguta, Doris Wanjiku, Agnes Nyambura, Caroline Waithera, Joyce Njeri, Eva Nyambura Karanja, Doris Nyachuma, Timothy Mukuria, Abigail Mukuria, Judy Mukuria, Ian Danson Mwangi, Ted Mwangi, Maureen Nyambura, Samuel Mwangi, Kevin Mwangi, Derrick Mwangi, Dennis Mwangi, Karen Mwangi, Nick Mwangi, Emily Nyambura Mwangi, Emily Nyambura Kamemba, Emily Nyambura (Eldoret), Anthony Mwangi, Dennis Mwangi Njue, Emily Nyambura Watiri, Kevin Mwangi (Wangari), Zion Nyambura and Mwangi Kepha. Aunty and Great grandmother to Many.

Family and Friends are meeting at Wanyororo B in the evenings.

The Cortege Leaves War Memorial Hospital Mortuary Nakuru on Wednesday 17th March, Time 9.30AM. There will be a service/ funeral mass at 11.30am at her home in Kibaara village, Wanyororo B, Bahati, Nakuru followed by the burial at the same place.
