EPHRAIM MARANGU EDWARD RUCHA

It is with great sadness and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Ephraim Marangu Edward Rucha, that occurred on 22nd April, 2021, at Kenyatta National Hospital. After a battle with Kidney illness. He was born in 1946 in Gakui village, Kiraro Sub-location, Chogoria Location, Maara Sub-county of Tharaka Nithi County.

Son of Edward M’Rucha and Asenath Ukima Rucha. Brother of Gilbert Miriti, the late Linus Kithinji, Erastus Micheni Rucha, Ginson Kibaara, Timothy Mugendi, Zipporah Karim’, John Kirimi, the late Lilian Kanyua, Damaris Gatakaa, Purity Kaari, Festus Kariuki, Dorothy Kageni and the late Geoffrey Job Rucha Husband of the late Grace Nyambura Rucha. Father of the late Anthony Kimani, Timothy Kaburu, Susan Wanja, Erick Mwenda & Kenneth Macharia. Father-in-law of Haggai Matogo, Sarah Wanjiku, Emily Safari and Grace Muthei. Grandfather of John, James, Peter, Adrienne (Nimo), Ayden, Chris,Tugi and Kena. An Uncle, Brother-in-law, Cousin, Business Partner and Friend to many.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta National Hospital Funeral Home, on 30th April, 2021 at 5:00am, for Chogoria, Tharaka-Nithi County, where the burial will take place.
