It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden death of Eric Mugambi Guantal Raiji of INERELA + Kenya & a student at JKUAT, through a tragic road accident, on 3rd July, 2021.

Adoring son of Samson Guantai Raiji (Chuka University) and Florence Guantai (Technical University of Kenya). Loving brother of Liz Guantai (Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry) and beloved twin brother of Elon Kinoti (Kenyatta University). Loving grandson of Raphael M’raiji and the late Eujenia Karamana Raiji, the late Charles M’Ngiti and Esther Ngiti. Beloved nephew of Prisca and Riunga Raiji, Annabel and Thomas Raiji, Janerose and Stephen Kimaita, Margaret Raiji, Florence and Daniel Gikunda, Mary and Kariuki Ireri, Christine and Mutethia Raiji, Lydiah and Kirimi Raiji, Purity and Peter Ngiti, Agnes and Mathiu Athenya, Lydia and Gilbert Ngit!, Kiende and Andrew Ngiti, Purity and Patrick Ngiti, Evelyn and Gitonga Kimathi, Kathure and Koome Ngiti. A grandchild, nephew, cousin and friend to many.

Friends and relatives are meeting at The Sacred heart of Jesus Shrine Catholic church Langata road Nairobi after Galleria Mall opp CITAM, and Paramount Hotel in Meru town from 4.30pm-6.00pm Mon, Tue, Wed) for prayers and funeral arrangements.

A Memorial service will be held at St Michael Catholic church, Lang’ata on Wednesday 7th July, 2021 at 11:00am. Burial will take place on Friday 9th July, 2021 in Ruiri, Meru County. Funeral service will be held at Ruiri Catholic church from 10:00am and thereafter burial at his parents home in Ruiri. All Covid restrictions will be observed.
