It is with a heavy heart that we announce the death of Rtd. Mwalimu Njeru Ben after ailing from chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia.

Son of the late Emily and Benson Njiru. Husband of the late Sarah and Jeniffer. Beloved father of Elizabeth Gichangi (Muragara sch), Benson Kinyua, Bonface Mwaniki, Naftaly Mugera Njeru (office of the auditor general), Robert Muchangi (sports Kenya) David Ndwiga, Idah W Njeru (St Peters Karura Sec) and the late Leonard Mugendi. Father-in-law of peter gichangi (Gathuthuma sch), Lydia Murugi, Stella Nkirote (Embu county), Beth Maina and Mary Mukami. Brother of Papia, Ndauti, Leonard, Njagi, Sasaline . Grandfather of seraphine, Amos, Esther, Ernest, Sandra, Sarah, Austin, Samantha, Tasha, Ryan, Jayden, Myra and Maya. Teacher, mentor, uncle, cousin and bossom friend to all.

Mzee will be laid to rest on Tuesday 21st April 2020 at his residence Kamuthatha village , Kithimu location , Embu county.
