EVAN MWALUMA MWANDAWIRO (MANDELA)

It is with profound sadness that the family of Mwandawiro Mghanga announce the demise of Evan Mwaluma, which occurred on Monday 8th March, 2021 at Mombasa Hospital.

He was the son of the late Mwandawiro Mghanga and the late Anastacia Chao. Loving husband of Phldlorah Mghoi. Brother to the late James Mwasambo, the late Dorothy Wakio, Difrose Mghoi, Arnold Mwanganyl and Danleyson Mzae. Step brother to late Davison Nyambu Mghanga, Agnela Mkakazi, Jenifa Wambugha, late Newston Tole, Belston Mwasi, Donald Mbatia, late Jenliza Marta, Margret Mambori and Mwawasi Mwandawiro.

Beloved father to Chao Mweu (Mastercard), late Hudson Mjomba, Dr. James Mwandawiro (KMFRI Mombasa), Adeline Maguwa (Seaforth), Janet Mwaluma (ABSA Kenya) and George Wawaka (Safaricom). Father-in-law to Brig (Rtd) Joe BM Mweu (Strathmore University), the late Agnes Mjomba, Lucy Mwandawiro (Aga Khan Academy Mombasa), Morgan Walubengo and Joyce Wawaka (EABL). Loving grandfather to Leslie, Blanche, Michael, Allan, Andrew, Chris, Jeremy, Nicholas and Ethan.

Family and friends are meeting daily at the All Saints Cathedral, Nairobi, and the Little Theatre Club, Mombasa from 5pm.

Major Fund Raisings will be held on Wednesday 17th March, 2021 at All Saints Cathedral Nairobi and Little Theater Club — Mombasa from 5.00pm.

On Friday 19th March 2021, the cortege will depart from Pandya Memorial Hospital in Mombasa at 7.30 a.m. for a requiem service at ACK Mombasa Memorial Cathedral from 08.30 – 09.30 am, thereafter the cortege will depart for Taita at 10.00 am.

Burial service will be held on Saturday, 20th March, 2021 at his home in Ngulu, Werugha Taveta County.
