EVANS NYARONG’I MONARI

 20th October 1962 – 4th October 2021

It is with deep sadness and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the untimely passing of Evans Monari, Senior Disputes and Arbitration Partner at Coulson Harney LLP – Bowmans, Chairman of Eagaads Ltd. and Chairman and Director of Sax & Violins Lounge, Karen. His untimely passing occurred on the 4th of October 2021 after being hospitalised at the Nairobi Hospital.

Evans distinguished himself through an impressive legal career spanning over three decades. He was revered as an exceptional and brilliant legal mind whose accomplishments greatly influenced Kenyan jurisprudence.

Evans was the loving husband of Jacqueline Monari and caring father to Cynthia Angel Monari-Childerhouse &Thomas Mark Childerhouse, Michelle Moraa Monari, Joshua Andrew Monari and Jeremy Monari. Beloved son of the late George Hudson Monari Ogeto and Mama Teresa Bosibori Monari. Loving brother to Kennedy & Carren Monari, Dr. Fronica Monari, the late Lillian Gesare Monari & Dr. Daniel Mutuli, Geoffrey & Evelyn Monari and Dennis & Eileen Monari.

Family, friends and relatives are gathering at his residence every day this week from 5 – 7pm.

Fundraising in aid of hospital bill and funeral expenses will be held at Maxwell SDA Church Old Sanctuary, Valley Road, Nairobi on Tuesday, 12th October 2021 at 5:30pm. Contributions may also be made to MPESA Paybill No. 8042903 and state your name as the account number.

Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, 14th October 2021 at 11:00am at Maxwell SDA, Valley Road, Nairobi.

The burial ceremony will be held on 17th October 2021 at Gesima, Nyakongo village, Nyamira County.
