FAITH MAKATHIMO

We humbly announce the promotion to glory of Faith Makathimo on 6th September 2021.

Daughter of the late Mathiu Gatumo and the late Marion Mwaromo Gituru of Upper Kithangari. Loving wife to Ex. Snr. Chief Joseph Makathimo of Upper Kithangari, Meru County. Loving mother to John Muriuki (formerly of CBK), the late Charles Gikunda (formerly of UON), Dr. Annemary Nkirote (KCB), the late Joanina Gakii, Patrick Gitonga, Veresta kiende (KCB), Christine Kathure and Fredrick Koome (KEPHIS).

Sister to the late Asenath, the late Jennifer, Lucia, Consolata, the late Joyce, the late Ngeta, Nanice, the late Julia, the late Charity, Elizabeth, Njiru, the late Carol, Murithi, Kinoti and Kaguongo. Sister-in-law to the late Beatrice Riria, the late Gerald M’Arithi, Agnes Mberia and the late Rosemary Kaburu. She lived to see many grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

There will be a requiem mass at Holy Family Minor Basilica, Nairobi CBD on Monday 13/09/2021 at 2 pm.

Funeral service will be on Tuesday 14/09/2021 at St. Louis Igandene Catholic Church, followed by burial rites at her home, Igandene Village, Upper Kithangari, Meru County.
