FRANCIS OCHIENG WAIROMA

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of Francis Ochieng Wairoma on 28th January, 2022 in Kigali, Rwanda.

Husband to Josianne Nyiranshimiyimana Wairoma of Kigali, Rwanda. Father to Gilly Gasana and Sheila Ineza. Son of Gilbert Wairoma and the Late Leonida Awino. Stepson to Roselyne Wairoma of Osieko village, Budalangi, Busia County. Son-in-law to Gashirabake Narcisse and Mukangasana Therese of Kigali, Rwanda. Brother -in -Law to Kimenyi John, Ingabire Diane and Ishimwe Amandine of Kigali, Rwanda.

Brother to Julius Wairoma (Compassion Intl), Joseph Wairoma (NAISAUKI) Sheila Wairoma (La Destinee Academy), Michael Wairoma (Ministry of Trade)and Agnes Wairoma (Laser Insurance Brokers).

Grandson to the late Joseck and Selah Wairoma. Nephew to the Late George Wairoma, Johnson, Milcah and the Late Meshack Omenda, Betty and Prof. Mathew Buyu, Rosalyn and David Otieno, Jayne, Benson, Doreen, Chris, Amos, Ayub, Rose, Hellen, and George (alI Wairomas).

Brother-in law to Mercy, David Muthama, Musa Muga, Douglas Kanja. Cousin to the Wairomas, Omendas, Chris Buyu, the Otienos, Horace Owino, the Omores, the Marandas, Olangs, Miyayis, Syambas, Milanyas, Wasongas and Ogolas among others.

There will be a fundraiser on Thursday 10th February, 2022 via zoom from 7.00 p.m., Saturday, 12th February, 2022 at CITAM Valley Road from 2.00P m, and a final one on Tuesday 15th February, 2022 at All Saints Cathedral from 5.30pm.

Funeral service will be at ACK St. Luke’s, Kenyatta Market on Thursday, 17th February, from 2.00pm.

The cortege leaves Coptic Hospital mortuary on Friday 18th February for a service at ACK St. Magdalene Bar Awendo. Burial will take place at his home in Majengo, Yimbo, Siaya County, on Saturday 19th February, 2022 from 10.00am.
