FRANCO AARON NKUMBA

Birth: 18th of July, 1956 – Demise: 5th of January, 2022

With deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will, we announce the resting of Franco Aaron Nkumba on 5th January 2022.

He was the son of the late Aaron Kanyoni and the late Mary Nyangoma Amooti; beloved husband to Pauline Muthoni Mbuu; father to the late Victor Chege Nkumba, Jacquie Njambi Nkumba, Maria Goretti Nkumba and Martha Umutoni Nkumba, and doting grandfather to Aria Gabriella Kabugi.

He was brother to Edward Mwesigwa, Jennifer Mbabazi, Jeanne Ugirumurera, George Kasaija, Jordan Kanyoni, Bosco Kanyoni, Gloria Kanyange, Junior Witness, Linda Mugenyi, and the late: Mediatrice Murungi, Diana Kanyoni, Byadunia Kanyoni and Tchim Shyaka. He was the loving cousin and uncle to many.

A Requiem Mass will be held at the family residence along Riara Road on Thursday, 13th January, 2022 at 2pm.

The current plan dependent on all travel requirements being met, is to leave Nairobi for Kampala, Uganda on Friday, 14th January, 2022. The funeral service will be held at All Saints’ Cathedral, Kampala on Saturday, 15th January, 2022 at 10am, and the body interred at the family home in Fort Portal, Uganda, on Sunday, 16th January, 2022.
