FREDRICK KARIUKI GITAHI

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing on of our beloved Fredrick Kariuki Gitahi former Director of Economic Affairs in the Ministry of the East African Community and Regional Development.

Son of the late Jacob Gitahi Wariahe and the late Tabitha Wairimu Gitahi (Nyathoko). Beloved husband to Miriam Wanjiku Kariuki. Cherished father to Francis Gitahi Kariuki.

Brother to Dr. Simon Ndungu, Mwalimu Joseph Wanyeri, Dr. C.K Gitahi, Cecilia Wangechi Maina, Beatrice Wanjiku Kimani, Lucy Wanja Gitahi, Moses Wangombe Gitahi, Patrick Wari, Francis Njogu, the late Mary Wanjiku Gitahi and the late Joseph Gitonga Gitahi. A dear uncle, nephew, colleague, mentor and friend to many.

Evening prayers are being held at his home in Skuta, Nyeri County.

The cortege leaves Consolata Mathari Funeral Home on Saturday 14th May, 2022, at 8:30am, for a funeral service at PCEA – Ruringu Church. He will later be laid to rest at his home.
