GAKII MUTHURI

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Gakii Muthuri which occurred on 10th January 2023.

Gakii was born in 1964 in Kimbo Village, Kibirichia Location, Buuri County to Mr and Mrs Fredrick Muthuuri M’Rinkanya. She was a sister to Mugambi, Kajuju, Karwitha, Kimathi and Kinya.

She was the wife to the late Steve Muriungi of Githongo. She was blessed with three children namely Marion Naitore, Marillyne Kathambi and Sam Mwenda. Gakii had seven dotting grandchildren Keila, Kyan, Kinoti Lafair, Joel, Luwa and Sheyba. She was the mother in law to Richard Kuria and Bishop John Charles Muyu.

Until her demise she was the Principal Human Resource and Development Officer at the Ministry of Interior and National Administration Headquarters.

Memorial service will be held on Wednesday 25th January 2023 at Gospel Tabernacle Worship Center, Mkoma road South B from 2.00pm to 5.00pm.

The burial will take place on Friday 27th January 2023 at her farm in Tharagwene Village, Kibirichia Location, Buuri Sub-County, Meru County.
