It is with great sadness that the family of the late Mzee Joel Rachuonyo announces the passing on of Geoffrey Omondi Rachuonyo on 28th June, 2022, at Aga Khan Hospital, Kisumu.

Husband to Rosebella Achieng Rachuonyo and father to Ellarie Lydia Enkawi Rachuonyo.

Son to the late Mzee Joel Rachuonyo Owuor and Lydia Achieng Owuor, and the late Esther Akuku. Son-in-law to Dr. Fredrick Odhiambo Ndede and Mrs. Agatha Anyango Odhiambo.

Brother to the late Liziah,Violet, Irene (USA),Tom (USA), Beatrice, Margaret (USA), Duncan, Olivia, Evans, Clifford, Dorothy, Japheth, Harold, Stephen and Ray. Brother-in-law to Maria Rachuonyo, Pamela Odoyo, Millicent Owuor, Sarah Okello, Molly Ondiwa, Rachael Anindo, Lorna Rachuonyo, Aisha Otieno, Janet Oduor, Pamela Amenya, Isaac Okeyo and Joyce Okeyo, Hesbon Ochieng and Anne Ochieng, Geoffrey Kitoto and Beryl Otieno, Elizabeth Odhiambo, Dorcas Odhiambo and Martha Odhiambo amongst others.

Nephew to the late Tabia Amenya, the late Yudah Odundo, the late Pastor Enock Oloo, Isaiah Ramogi, Grace Ajuoga and Johnstone Agolla.

Friends and family are meeting daily at his Nkoroi home and at Kogelo, Ranen, Migori County to plan for funeral arrangements.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, 11th July, 2022 at the Advent Hope SDA Church, Rongai, at 10.00am.

He will be laid to rest on Friday, 15th July, 2022 at the family home, Dago Kogelo, Ranen, Migori County.
