GEOFFREY PAUL NGATU

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Geoffrey Paul Ngatu (Editon Lab and Office Supplies, and formerly of KEMRI) on 29th November, 2020 after a long illness bravely borne.

Son of the late Paul M’Anampiu and the late Julia Nkirote. Beloved husband to Duster Karimi Ngatu (formerly of Del Monte, Nairobi Office). Loving father to Edwin Ngatu (Family Bank Ltd, H/O), and Anthony Mwenda Ngatu (RDEV Advocates). Father in law to Nasieku Ngatu (DIB Bank) and Lillian Mwenda (RDEV Advocates). Grandfather to Meikan Ngatu, Kiyan Ngatu, and Karimi Ngatu. Brother to Naomi and Kinoti, Gitonga and Bertha, Eng. Nturibi and Joyce, the late Makena and the late Murithi, Martha and Koome, the late Philip, the late Marycella and Mwirigi, Delfina and Kimathi, Florence and Kithinji and Elizabeth Kendi. Brother in law to Francis and Makelina, the late Kaundia and Margaret, Mwarikia, the late Mubichi and Jerusha, Mwiti and Jacinta among others. He was an uncle to many.

There will be a requiem mass on Thursday 3rd December, 2020 at 2:00 pm at St. Paul’s University Chapel, Nairobi.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral Home on Friday 4th December, 2020 at 6:00 am for the funeral service at his ancestral home in Kigure village, Kinoru Division, Imenti North District, Meru County from 11.00am on the same day.
