GEORGE KARIUKI GICHUHI

Diagnosed with cancer in October 2020, George Kariuki Gichuhi fought a brave battle till the last minute. He remained positive, jovial, and very encouraging to those who were around him.

When he eventually succumbed on the morning of 29 June 2021, it was to enter eternal rest with God after his newfound faith in Jesus Christ. Indeed, he leaves behind a strong legacy of hope!

Kariuki is son to the late David Gichuhi Kihiu and the late Naomi Wambui Gichuhi. He is brother to Bosco Muriu, the late Anastacia Kamande, the late Peter Kihiu, Jane Tibi, Wanyoike Gichuhi, Catherine Wanjiru, and Julia Kagunda.

He leaves behind his children Evelyn Wangui, David Gichuhi, and Kennedy Wamai and their mother, Catherine Njeri; he is father-in-love to Andrew and Christine, and grandfather to Ryan, Jayden, Keisha, Tamima & Aria.

The cortege will leave St Teresa Hospital mortuary in Kiambu at 6am on Saturday 3 July 2021. The funeral service will be held at his home in Passenga, Ol Kalaou, Nyandarua starting at 10.30am the same day.
