GEORGE KIMANI MUITIE (MWALIMU)

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of our patriarch George Kimani Muitie (Mwalimu) of Mwariki, Nakuru formerly of Lusigetti Village, Karai, Kikuyu Sub-County, Kiambu County, which occurred on Wednesday 2nd February, 2022 at Mediheal Hospital – Eldoret, after a short illness.

Son of the late Muitie wa Ngachu and the late Rahab Njoki wa Muitie, Husband of Teresiah Wanjiku Kimani. Brother of Pastor Peter Kiambuthi Muitie, Elizabeth Wangari Githuku, Hannah Wambui Mungai and the late Joseph Gabriel Njenga Muitie (Mwalimu Ngachu), the late Henry Ndung’u Muitie, the late Stanley Mwaura Muitie (Wangereni) and the late Grace Nduta Ngugi. Loving dad to William Waweru Kimani (MSF-Lokichogio), Cecilia Githigu Ngugi, Ann Njoki Kimani, Lydia Nduta Mwangi, Andrew Waiganjo Kimani, Lucy Nyambura Kimani (National Treasury) and John Njenga Kimani (Grant Thornton).

Son in-law of the late Paul Waiganjo and Cecilia Githigu Waiganjo. Father-in-law of Catherine Nieridoe Ngugi, James Mwangi, Susan Wanjiku, Daniel Kirira and Mary Njeri. Grandfather of Kimani’s, Wanjiku’s, Wangari, Nduta, Wairimu, Njeri, Wambui’s , Muiruri and many more.

Family and Friends are meeting daily at his home Blessed Close, Mwariki B. Estate – Nakuru County, near Mwariki Police Station at 5:00pm and at His Matindiri home – Gwa Kiongo at 5:00pm for prayers and burial preparation.

The cortege leaves PNN Ngare Mortuary – Nakuru on Friday 11th February, 2022 at 8:30 am and thereafter funeral and burial service will follow at Matindiri – Gwa – Kiongo, at 11:00 am.
