It Is with deep sadness and profound sense of loss that we announce the sudden demise of our beloved Husband, Father, Brother, Uncle, Grandfather and Friend Gerald Nteere Kirera formerly of Barclays Bank (currently Absa Bank) that occurred after a short Illness on the dawn of the 18th, January, 2022,

He was the second of the first born twins of Jennifer Kirera and the late Samuel Kirera. Son-In-law of the late Paul M’Ringera and the late Tabitha M’Ringera. Loving Husband to Rose Nkatha Nteere and devoted father of Emily Gacheri, Hildah & Alfred Murithi and Denis Gitonga.

Brother to Stephen & Sarah, Ruth, Miriam, Rhoda, the late Margaret, Sarah & George, Ariel & the late Rose. Brother In-law to Marion & the late Muthamia, John & Olympia, Eunice & John, the late Serah, Edith & Kirimi.

Grandfather to Maxwell, Ethan, Liam, Juniour and Solomon. Uncle and grandfather to many.

Nteere leaves a legacy of love and Integrity with his family and those who knew him. He has left behind wonderful memories of a loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle, grandfather and friend. We are grateful for each and every day we got to see his glowing smile, and for the lessons learned and all the jokes we shared.

Family members, friends and well-wishers are meeting daily at his Residence in Muriinya Village, Buuri Sub-County. Meru County for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege loaves Kiirua Mission Hospital on Monday, 24th January 2022 at 8:00 am for the funeral service and burial rites in his family homestead at Muriinya, Buuri Constituency, Meru County from 10:00 am and thereafter he will be laid to rest in the same grounds.

Precious in the sight of the Lord, is the Death of His Saints. (Psalms 116: 15)
