It is with profound sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden passing on of Gladys Gachambi Wanjohi on 11th October, 2020.

Loving wife of the Late Eliud Wanjohi Wairagu. Mother of Esther and Mwirigi, Wairagu and Winnie, Mary and Nyoro, Ruo and Lucy, Jane Wanjohi, Waithaka and Mary, Tabitha Wanjohi, Nyambura and Kanja, Susan Wanjohi, Mugi and Leah, Sarah Wanjohi, and Gikonyo and Lucy. Daughter of the late Joel Ruo Waithaka and the late Mary Wanjiru Ruo. Daughter-in-law of the late James Wairagu Wanjohi and the late Esther Wanjiru Wairagu. Sister of the late Wangui, the late Waithaka, the late Gikonyo, the late Ngeru, the late Wanja, the late Gateri and the late Nyambura. Sister-in-law of the late Thomas Wairagu, the late Beatrice, the late Elishebah, Kuria, Mwihaki, the late Simon Wanjohi, the late Mugi, the late Githakwa Wairagu, Lazarus Wairagu, Samuel Wairagu, Tabitha, Peter, the late Njoki and Benson Wairagu. Loving grandmother/ great grandmother of many.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at her home, Kariaini Village, Ngoeni, Kanyenyaini.

The cortege leaves Kirialni Mission Hospital on Wednesday 21st October, 2020 at 9.00 a.m. Funeral service starts at 11.00 am at her home Kariaini Village, Ngoeni, Kanyenyaini, Kangema sub- County. Please adhere to the COVID- 19 protocols.
