It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s Will that we announce the passing on of our beloved GraceWangui Kinyua of Laikipia County- Nanyuki, on 31st of October, 2020.

Daughter of the late Ndegwa Mugo and Julia Muthoni Ndegwa of Gaki, Aguthi Location, Nyeri County. Step sister of Elizabeth Wagithi, Anna Waniugu, Miriam Wambui, Mary Wanjiru, Rachel Nyaruai, Shiprah Wambui and Emily Wangui and brother of the late Mugo Ndegwa. Sister in law of Juliana Wangui, the late Michael Nderitu, Teresa Muthoni, Stephen Kinyua, the late Agatha Nyamiru, Agness Wanjiru, Asunta Mumbi and Ann Wanjira. Wife of Stephen Kinyua Ngatia. Co-wife of Josephine Wanjiku and Cecily Karuana.

Loving mother of Tekla Wairimu (Nanyuki Posta), Patricia Mukundi (USA), Juliana Kinyua Muchiri (KCB), the late Lazaro Maina formerly of Laikipia County, Antony Ndegwa Kinyua (Laikipia County), and Faith Wagithi Njenga (Quinns, Nairobi). Step-mother of Christine Gathoni. Patrick Maina, Tekla-Stacy, and Steve Maina. Mother in law of Robert Muchiri (Business Sweden), Robert Mukundi (USA), and Antony Njenga (Coop Bank). Also, Mother- in law of Rose Nyawira, Lucy Ngonyo, Esther Waithera. She was a Cousin, Auntie, Niece, Grandmother, Great Grandmother and a Friend to many.

Family members and friends are meeting daily at Emess Hotel-Old Post Office next to Equity Bank, Nanyuki and through virtual WhatsApp meetings.

The cortege assembles at Nanyuki Referral Hospital Mortuary on Friday 6th Nov.2020 at 7.00am.Thereafter, Funeral Service and burial will take place at Baraka (Sweet waters Road) starting at 10am.
