HELLEN KHASOA MASINDE HOLI

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Mrs. Hellen Khasoa Masinde Holi, which occurred on Thursday 18th November, 2021, after a long battle with cancer. Hellen was a lifelong high school Biology Teacher-until her retirement from The Kenya High School in 2019.

She was the Daughter of the late Mzee Erastus Masinde and the late Mama Julia Masinde. She was the beloved wife to Mr. Herbert Enos Holi. Daughter n-law to the late Mzee Holi Maikuma and Mama Sarah Wanyova. She was loving mother to Eric Holi, Michelle Holi, Doreen Holi, and Janet Holi. She was dear sister to the late Joel Waluchio, Eng. Charles Masinde, Dr. Eliud Masinde, Richard Masinde, the late Janet Wafula, Joseph Masinde, and Pamela Wafukho.

Sister-in-law to the late William Mutali, the late Edward Holi, the late James Wasike, Andrew Njuya, the late Fred Wekesa, Ruth Sitawa, the late Nasimiyu, the Namunyu’s, the Jereti’s the Khamusini’s, the Lichuma’s, among others. Also sister in-law to Hon. Eric Wafukho, Agnes Wangila, Dr. Dorothy Masinde, Respar Masinde, and Morrine Masinde.

Cousin to the Wanyonyis, Wafulas, Shitandas, Sakaris, Ngairas, Ayugus, Wakhungus, Standas, Mandaras, Simanis, Chokaas, Busiegas, Adedes, Bulimos amongst others.

Family and friends are meeting daily for prayers and burial arrangements at her home in Kilieleshwa, from5.00m.

A funds drive will be held at All Saints Cathedral, on Monday 29th November, 2021, from 5.00 pm.

Funeral service will be held on Tuesday 30th November, from 12 noon, at Parklands Baptist Church.

Burial will be on Saturday 4th December, 2021, at her matrimonial home in Mikuva village, Bungoma County.
