Called Home at Last

Hezron Gichuki, whom many will remember as retired Administration Registrar University of Nairobi and former Councillor, Naro Moru Municipal Council was called to his final rest on the evening of 25 April 2020.

Son of Joseph Karuri Gichuki and Evelyn Kirigo Karuri of Munyange Village, Othaya, Nyeri and beloved husband of Teresia Gachambi and the late Alice Nkirote.

Father of two Joseph Karuris, Helen Kirigo, Rebecca Muthoni, Maggie Wanjiru, Evelyn Kirigo, Ian Kiogora and Patrick Mwai. Father-in-law of Paul Davis, Beatrice Waithira, George Kinyanjui, Florah Waithera, Khamis Chome, Beatrice Wanjiru and Annette. Grandfather of Rebecca, Gathoni, David, Marion, Sarah, three Hezrons, Kinyanjui, Maureen, Cynthia, Badi and Terry.

He was the eldest son of 36 siblings. We thank the Lord for his grace and mercy in giving us our beloved father, husband, brother, uncle and grandfather for all those years.

He will be laid to rest at his farm in Kikuyu on Wednesday 29 April 2020 after a brief private service at 10:00 am.
