It is with deep sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Dad, Mr. Jackton Dimo Orwa on Friday 11th November, 2022 at his home in East Kochia Location, Korayo Sub-location, Homabay County.

Son to the late James Orwa Oreny and the late Esther Odak Okoko. Son-in-law to the late Abisalom Olende and Mama DursilaAyungo of Karungu (Ndhiwa) and the late Kongere Ogutu and the late Teresia Kongere of Ramogi Kabuoch.

Loving husband to Margret Atieno Dimo and Grace Akinyi Dimo. Loving and caring Dad to Churchill, Phoebe, Kenneth, Aulgha, Clifford, Victor, Linet, Donald, Amon, Noliver and the Late Fredrick. Father-in-law to Jill, Monica, Sylvia and Stacy.

Nephew to the late Dr. Joseph Okoko, the late Dr. Benjamin Okoko, Simon Okoko, the late Opiyo Okoko, the late Kenneth Okoko, Robert Okoko, Walter Okoko, the late Grace Odoyo, Amon Okoko, the late Shadrack Okoko, Naomi Odawo, and Tom Okoko. Brother to George Orwa, Samuel Orwa of Switzerland, the late Reuben Otieno, the late Peter Orwa, the late William Orwa, the late Tom Orwa, Milka Okuome, Monica Odwar and the late Janet Otieno.

Uncle to Ronald, Noel,Wycliffe, Lillian among others. Cousin, in-law and friend to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his home residence in East Kochia Location, Korayo Sub-location.

The cortege will leave Gendia Mission Hospital Mortuary on Thursday, 24th November, 2022 at 2.30pm. He will be laid to rest on Friday 25th November, 2022 at his home in Kochia Location, Korayo Sub-location, Kodul Village.
