JACKSON WACHIRA KANYI

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mr Jackson Wachira Kanyi (formerly Accounts Controller Judiciary) which occurred on 10th May 2021 while undergoing treatment in Kenyatta National Hospital.

He was a son of the late Maxwell Kanyi and the late Agnes Wambui.

Loving husband to Edith Wakarima. Father to Agnes Wambui, Robert Kanyi, Catherine Mumbi, Juliet Wothaya, Stanley Kairu, Antony Kariuki, Eric Mathaga, Mercy Wanjiku and Moreen Wothaya.

Brother to Jane Wothaya, Furaciah Watetu, Alice Waruguru, the Late Edith Wanjiru and Humprey Kariuki.

Father in law to Hannah Wangui, Paul King’ara, Charles Gitonga and Grace Nkatha.

Brother in-law to the late Margret Wangari Githaiga, Jerioth Nyambura, Charles Wachira, Robert Ndirangu, the late Gladys Wanjiru, Millicent Gathoni, Mercy Wairimu. Was an uncle and a Grandfather to many.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral Home on Tuesday, 18th May, 2021 at 7:00 am for a funeral service at Gichiche Social Hall Grounds and thereafter burial at his farm in Gichiche, Chinga, Othaya, Nyeri County.

All Covid-19 protocols will be observed. The Lord Giveth and the Lord Taketh.
