JAMES KIPTOO SAWE

1950 – 2021

It is with a heavy heart and profound sadness that the Cheubei family regret to announce the demise of James Kiptoo Sawe, of Lemoru farm Uasin Gishu County, on 15th February, 2021, at Eldoret Hospital.

Son of the late Kipsang Rono, the late Dorcas Jeptarus and the late Bot Mosi. Husband of Mary Sawe. Father of Meshack Sawe (Kenya Seed), Edna Sawe – Muigey (KLB), Henry Sawe (Australia), Geoffrey Sawe (Lemoru Farm), Daniel Sawe (Australia) and Kenneth Sawe (Australia). Father-in-law of Anjeline Sawe, Samuel Muigey, Tabitha Sawe, Winnie Sawe and Shirley Lel. Brother of Julius Sang, Emily Tarus, the late Kipyego Sawe, the late Shadrack Sawe, the late David Sawe, Mosi Sang and Malakwen Yator. Son-in-law of the late Abraham Choge, Jane Choge, the late Rosa Choge, the late Salome Choge (Kapamchat). Brother-in-law of the late Esther, the late Tarus, Selly, Grace, Rael, the late Magdalena, Juliana and Priscilla. Grandfather of Deborah, Sharnel, Sharnice, Eshton, Faustin, Scott, Natalia and Gabble among others. Cousin and uncle to many.

Funeral arrangements are being held at his home.

The cortege leaves Eldoret Hospital Mortuary, on Tuesday 23rd February, 2021, at 10:30am for an overnight vigil at his Lemoru Home. He will be laid to rest on Wednesday 24th February, 2021, at his home.
