Death and Funeral Announcement of James Magu Hinga Muthuri

It’s is with deep sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of brother-in-Christ James Magu Hinga Muthuri of Mutaratara village, Thogoto, Kikuyu.

Son of the late Alfred (Waburiti) Hinga and Elizabeth Wanja Hinga. Beloved husband of Rtd. Elder Lucy Wambui Magu. Father of Elder Mrs. Winnie Kimani (Msa), Simon Hinga (Msa), the late Peter Mondo and Keziah Wanjiru (Malindi). Father-in-law of Kimani Machua, Loise Wanjiku and the late Laban Gikonyo. Brother of the late Gladys Mumbi Ng’ang’a, Godfrey Githieya, Josphine Nyambutu Njaaga, the late Hannah Nyokabi, Gladys Wanjiru Thairu and Reginald Waiyaki. Brother-in-law of Wamaitha Njoroge, Ngige Mondo among others. Grandfather of Njoki, Machua, Wambui, Magu and Njau. Beloved uncle, cousin and friend to many.

Family & friends are meeting at his home in Mutaratara Opposite Muhuri/Kikuyu Road junction.

The cortege will leave Kikuyu Hospital Mortuary on Friday 13th at 9.00am followed by a funeral service at PC.E.A. Githima Church Dagoretti and thereafter burial at his Mutaratara home.
