The Mesa family regrets to announce the Death and funeral of retired Teacher James Mesa Nyanusi of Mochenwa Nyabogoye village.

He was a founder member and first chairman of Gusii Mwalimu Sacco.

He is loving husband to Joyce Nyaboke. Son to the late Zacharia Nyanusi and the late Belia Magoma and Nyabate.

Son-in-law to the late Zephania Maoga and Sibia Mokaya. Father to the late Gilbert Bororio, Mary Moraa, Stella Nyamisa, Gladys Bosibori, Janet Kemunto, Rebecca Nyakerario, Esther Nyatichi, Everline Kerubo and John Momanyi.

Father-in-law to Gladys Kerubo, Benson Misati, Henry Machana, George Atunga, Andrew Nyaribo, Luther Marigwa, Alfred Chweya, Elkana Ogeda and Jane Nechesa.

Grandfather to Mercy, James, Brian, Susan,James Mesa Nyanusi Cynthia, Yvette, Vallary, Ian, Duncan, Brandon, among others. Great-grandfather to Halley, Khloe,Tafari, Courtney and Carlile.

He is a brother to the late Dr. Enoch Nyanusi, Robert Omwenga,Yunuke Bosibori, Hellen, Kemunto, Nyatuong’i, the late Meshack, John, Jomo, Kwamboka, Nyachae, Mainye and Moral.

Brother-in-law to Onsarigo, Ongeri,Abigael, Joash, Nyabuti, Nyancharna, Mainye and Kemunto, among others. Semo to the late Subano.

The cortege leaves Kisii Teaching and Referral Hospital on Thursday 31st March, 2022 for service at Mochenwa grounds at 3.00pm and burial at his home on Friday 1″ April, 2022. Venue for the Funeral will be at Nyabogoye Primary School, Nyamira County.
