Death and Funeral Announcement of Jane Omwansu

It is with humble acceptance that the KEFRI Management announces the death of Jane Omwansu of KEFRI (Kenya Forestry Research Institute Headquarters Muguga), which occurred on 10th April, 2020, at Lenmek Hospital Gucha Sub County. The late Jane Hailed from Gucha Sub County, Kabere Location, Matongo Sub-Location Mwamigire Village.

Wife of the late Charles Okemwa Omwando formerly (KEFRI Employee). Daughter of Joash Omwansu and the late Teresa Omwansu. Mother of George Omwando, Everline Nyabwari and Godfrey Omwando. Sister of Mwenezi, Nyaboke, Beatrice, Jack, Obara, Risper, Cybrian and Moreka. Cousin of Patrick, Kevin, Damaris, Moses, Felix, Martha, Walter, Jeremiah, Lydiah and Kelvin. In-law of (Zablon Oncieku, Cleophas Hamis, Hezekiah Ogola, the late Clement Omwando,Yunes Omwando, Kemuma Okioma, Patrick Barasa) and Clement Makebe. Korera of Ongaga and Susan Wanjiru. Niece of Nyayiemi, Lukas and Bitengo. Grand Mother of Brian Omwando and Meshack Ongaga. Step Mother of Benson Okeno, Omwando Machogu, George Omwando, Julius Omwando among others.

Family members and friends are meeting daily at home Mwamigire village and her Nderi residence for funeral and burial arrangements.

The cortege leaves Lenmek Hospital Mortuary on Friday 17th April, 2020 for burial at Mwamigire Village of Matongo Sub- Location, Kabere Location of Kisii County.
