JOHN ONYONKA AKARA

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden death of John Onyonka Akara of Export Processing Zones Authority (EPZA), that occurred on Saturday, 26th March, 2022.

Son of Catherine Nyaboke and the late Borura Akara. Step-Son of the late Mong’ina, late Malinda, Moraa and Milka.

Loving husband of Salome Onyonka. Devoted father of Edward Onyonka and Ron Martin Onyonka.

Brother to Arch. Akara Borura, Jepson Ogeto, Stella Okemwa (UoN), late George Moranga, late Esther Moraa, Vincent Kaunda, Winfrida Saringi, Okara, Charles (KRA), John,Tom, among others.

Son-in-law to the Late Christopher Onchiri and Lucia. Semo to Dismas Makori.

Brother-in-law to Joan, Ruth, Lillian, Carol, ane, Rose, Ontita Onchiri, Josephine, Mokandu, Orenge, Samuel, Roselyne, Edna and Darius Isaboke, among others.

Uncle of Flora, Diana, Winnie, Cindi, Anthony, Edricah, Edward. Maureen, Sam, Caxton, Jesse, DI-. Okemwa, Innocent, Catherines, Christine, Moraa, Dan Ogeto, Sophie, Bradley, Moraa, Judy (Dj Bunney), Jill, Sam, Derrick, Mosioma, Kobi among others.

There will be a fund raising to defray funeral expenses on Tuesday. 5th April, 2022 at Professional Centre Parliament Road from 5.00 pm.

A requiem mass will be held at SL Paul’s Catholic Chapel – UoN, on Wednesday 6th April. 2022 at 10.00am.

The funeral service will be held on Friday 8th April, 2022 at Amakara, Nyaronde Borabu Settlement Scheme starting at 10.00am.
