It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing on of Joseph Mutungi Kavoi, retired officer in the office of the president, in the morning of Tuesday 11th February 2020 while undergoing treatment atTexas Cancer Centre.

Son of the late Peter Kavoi and Mary Wanzuu. Husband of Regina Wayua and Anastasia Mutule. Father of Lucy Ndinda (Masokani Pharmaceuticals), Elizabeth Mbithe (State Department for Gender), Violet Kasevu (Absa Bank-Kenya), Eric Kavoi (Ilkisonko Sec). Father-in-law of Hon. Boniface Kilaa Kasina (MCA Tseikuru Ward) and Richard Outa (NYS). Grand father of Natasha Mumbi, Sean Mulumu, Leon Mutati, Tamara Mutanu, Lovelyn Timona among others. Brother and uncle of many.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Funeral Home on Thursday 20th at 6am for requiem mass and final internment at Masokani Pri Sch, in Makueni County, Kasikeu Ward, Masokani village.
