It is with humble acceptance of God’s Will that we announce the demise of Jule Nteere Imathiu (formerly KPA Mombasa) on 12 April 2020.

Son of the late Elijah M’Imathiu and the late Charity Karambu. Husband of Bishop Lydia Imathiu (Repentance and Holiness) of Unilever, Mombasa. Father of Nowel Kiruja (KRA Nbi), Barbara Kananu (Red Beryl Consulting), Keith Mervin Mworia (Monarch Nbi), Brendan Ted Kirimi (formerly Utalii College) and Sharon Makena (UoN).

Brother of Stephen Gikutha, the late Ella Kanario, the late Alice Karuru, the late Godfrey Murithi, Col Isaac lmathiu (RTD), Ken Murira, the late Mithega lmathiu, the late Alex Muthiora and Irene Mul eti (Nakuru). Son-in-law of Charles Muthuri, Julia Raaru. Bro-in-law of Margaret Makandi (Mru) Jennifer Karuthu (Mru), George Murithi (Min of Works, Nbi), Mary Kaguri, Judith Mwongera, Gilbert Kirimi, Gideon Kiriinya of Meru, Jacqueline Munene (Nbi) and Daniel Kimathi (Mru). Cousin and uncle of many, Grandfather of Phoebe and Sophia.

The cortege will leave Pandya Mortuary on Thursday 16 April 2020 to St Theresa Mission Hospital Kiirua (Meru). Burial will take place on Friday 17 April 2020 at Menga village, Gikumene, Meru County.
