JULIA CHANGOWE KIRIRA

With gratitude and full acceptance of God’s will, we announce the death of the lovely Julia Changowe Kirira. Julia passed away peacefully on the night of 22nd January, 2023.

Daughter of the late David Nyambu Kituri and the late Cecilia Wanjala Kituri of Kigala Village in We ruga, Taita Taveta County.

Loving wife of the late Kirira Job Kahagi. Mother of the late Handel Kirira, the late Nancy Njamiu Kirira and Cicilia Wanjala Kirira. Grandmother of Bilha Wangui Mucuha, Andrew Kamau Mucuha and Jeffrey Kirira Mucuha. Great-grandmother of Tain Kariuki Mucuha.

Sister of the late Edmund Kituri, the late Flora Nyange, Clara Kitao, Emily Mwaro, Delina Nasibu, Hope Mutua, the late Jemimah Kituri and Winnie Mukolwe.

Sister-in-law of the late Zipporah Muriuki, the late James Kihori, Miriam Macharia, Perpetua Pasha, Lydia Wainaina, Maina Job, Grace Kahagi, Charity Machira, Irene Kahagi and the late Anthony Hunja.

Friends and family are meeting at the Kirira homestead in Ongata Rongai daily from 5.00pm until Thursday 26th January, 2023 for funeral meetings.

The funeral service will be held on Friday 27th January, 2023, St. Faith ACK Church Ongata Rongai at 10.00am followed by the burial at Lang’ata Cemetery.
