It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of the will of God that we announce the passing on of Kiprotich Korir (General Manager, Bartek Investment Coop Society) on 10/02/2020 after a short illness.

Loving husband of Priscah Rutto (Boresha Sacco). Father of Adrian Kiplabat and Abram Kendagor. Son of Mr. Joseph Komen (Retired Teacher Baringo High School) and Mrs Margaret Komen (Sogonin Primary). Son-in-Law of Mr. William Yator, Mrs. Sarah Kigen and Mrs. Sarah Taalam. Brother of Jerono Korir, Kigen Korir, Kipkurui Korir and Tito Korir. Brother-in-Law of Roy, Sylvia, Angela, Kipkosgei, Kipchirchir, Raphael, Kiptoo, Kiplagat and Kiprotich. Nephew of Salina, Wilson, Reuben, Wesley, Nancy, Magdalene Kiplagat, Jenifer, Kibet Komen, Magdalene Komen, Linah, Ann, Joshua, Julius, Kibet Moi and Faith.

Uncle of Joy, Sharlene, Wayne, Tamara, Tasha, Phelcine, Ken, Meshack, Kiptoo and Jeptoo. Cousin of Oyaro, Bob Kerubo,The late Kiplagat, Kipkogei, Jepkosgei Koech, Kiprop, Kimutai, The late Jepkoech, The Late Kibiwott, Kipruto, Kipyegon, Kiptoo, Kipkemoi Kochei, Kiptanui, Kipkoech, Kiprotich, Kipkemoi Kiplagat, Jepkorir, Jerobon, Kibichii, Jebiwott, Jelagat, Kiplimo, Jepkosgei Kibet, Jepchirchir, Jelimo and Jeruto.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at his Father’s home for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves the Agha Khan Hospital Nairobi on 18th February 2020 at 8:00 am for a funeral service and burial thereafter at their home in Sogonin Village, Eldama Ravine.
